Paola had wanted a bigger diamond ring for twenty years. When we finally visited a jeweller in Australia, we were quoted $6,570 for a 2ct oval lab-grown diamond in 18k yellow gold. The same product — lab-grown, IGI certified — that we could source directly for a fraction of that price.
